If Red Roots has been looking snazzy lately, it's because the crew has been doing fix-its: caulking leaks in the roof, installing our sign and makeshift gutter (minus a drain spout), building a new utility shelf and zine racks, setting up new computers in the space, and organizing / alphabetizing the lending library.
Red Roots is now open Monday through Wednesday, from noon to 7ish--and if you drop by on other days of the week, the space is often open as we work on other projects. Big ups to everyone who's come by to use the computers, make bracelets, borrow books, nab free literature, get their hair cut and chalk the sidewalk!
The Red Roots crew has also been circulating surveys in the area, to see what folks in our community would like the space to organize in the coming months. If you'd like to fill out a survey, please come by and do it--and if you have one, please turn it in!
